1969 Land Rover 88 Series IIA!! Extremely Rare!!! A beautifully refurbished example of one of the most iconic and recognizable British 4x4s ever produced! Marine Blue Exterior with Black Leatherette Upholstery Interior! This well-kept Land Rover will get you where you need to go in style and comfort as well as capacitate the ability to drive through rugged terrain effortlessly! This particular classic Land Rover was reportedly delivered new to Canada and spent time in Eastern Canada before being relocated to Alberta in 1983. The previous owner acquired the Land Rover in 2016 and subsequently completed a multi-year refurbishment between 2021 and 2023. The refurbishment was extensive and included separating the aluminum body from the frame, replacing rivets, repairing the left front wing, refinishing the body in Marine Blue, and repainting the Limestone hardtop. The windshield frame, front bumper, and various exterior trim pieces were galvanized, while the side-window and weather seals were replaced! Power comes from the legendary 2.25-liter gasoline inline-four, which was overhauled in 2022 mated with a Four-Speed Manual Transmission and dual-range transfer case, both of which were overhauled during the refurbishment. Inside, the cabin was stripped and fitted with replacement aluminum front flooring and updated three-across front seats trimmed in black leatherette upholstery.
